Subaru’s all-weather performance car models the WRX and the WRX STI have just been given a series of updates. Featuring several new toys and new design cues, the updated WRX and WRX STI have been launched in the US at $26,595 (Rs 16.90 lakh) and $34,695 (Rs 22.05 lakh) respectively.
Safety features on new WRX and WRX STI models include Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Furthermore, Subaru is also offering a new touch screen infotainment system across the range for improved appeal.
With its 2-litre, turbocharged BOXER engine and a highly capable all-wheel drive system as standard, the rally-bred WRX and WRX STI are one of top-selling performance sedans in the US. The 2016 WRX comes standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox and offers an optional automatic gearbox.
