In line with Mercedes-Benz refreshing the S-Class sedan for 2018, the Coupe and Cabriolet versions will also undergo the same treatment before these facelifted models are showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Since the updates are basically going to be borrowed from the S-Class sedan, the Coupe and Cabriolet models will get the S-Class’ design and tech tweaks. Things like the more aggressive nose section, new alloys, extra luxury features, and functions such as semi-autonomous driving technology will be offered.
The upcoming S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet will also get a new range of engines that include the 4.0-litre V8 motor that will be available in two power outputs. One for the regular model and the other for the AMG version. At the top of the range will be the V12 motor that powers the S600 and AMG S65 models. As of now, it isn’t clear as to whether both models will get all the engine options.
Pricing for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet should be slightly higher when compared to the current car, especially when you factor in the extra features and driving aides that will be made available.
