Land Rover will introduce the MY 2018 Range Rovers in India tomorrow. Two of the most popular and expensive SUVs, the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport will be come with fresh design and feature upgrades. This time around the updated Range Rovers will also borrow a few elements from the Velar.
In terms of exterior, the new Range Rovers get a sleeker grille which is complemented by the new Matrix LED headlamps with DRL and a masculine front bumper. The tweaked rear bumper now houses the twin-exhaust for both the Range Rovers. As for the interior, the vehicle gets an upgraded infotainment system with gesture control. The full sized Range Rover will be offered with optional executive seating in four member aircraft styled layout. The new models will also get premium upholstery and detailing which has been unique to the Range Rovers.  Â
The new Range Rovers will be powered by a PHEV powertrain and is also anticipated to be offered with plug-in hybrid options. The new Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport will be offered in multiple engine options in the form of a 3.0-litre V6, the 4.4-litre V8 and a 5.0-litre V8 mill that will come mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drive system.
