Nissan has unveiled an updated version of its 2020 Vision Gran Turismo concept car at the ongoing 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The car was originally designed for the popular video game Gran Turismo but as a surprise was also brought into to real life and exhibited at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car remains the same but has now been updated with a new paint scheme.
The 2020 Vision GT Concept, in essence previews what we can expect when Nissan launches the next generation of the GT-R. It is a radical design and has a few of the current car’s signature elements like the headlights, quad tail lamps and the rear wing. One of the newer elements visible on the car is the V-shaped grille.
The concept car shown at the Goodwood last year was a metallic silver while this version shown at Tokyo has been given a shade dubbed ‘Fire Knight Red’. This is a colour similar to what is offered with the current GT-R and one that we can expect to see on the next generation GT-R.
