A facelifted version of the current Isuzu MU-X, that’s selling in international markets and is due to be released in India this year, has been teased abroad.
Sources report that the updated MU-X could first debut in the Thai market next month as the SUV is produced there. From the teased images, this iteration of the Isuzu SUV seems to get a tweaked fascia that includes a reworked grille with restyled head lamps. There’s also a new leather trim which lends the cabin a more premium feel, along with updated LED tail lights which look upmarket.
As of now, these are the only changes that could be identified from the pictures. The current international MU-X that’s powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel motor which makes 176bhp and 430Nm of torque, uses a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Isuzu’s MU-X locks horns with rivals like the new Fortuner, Pajero Sport, and Endeavour in India, and was seen testing here back in November 2016. Though expected to arrive later this year, it is unknown if the teased model will make it to our showrooms eventually.
