Continuing with the festive spirit, we expect four new models to be launched in India in November 2017. Among the list, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X and the new Ford EcoSport will get new feature and style upgrades, while the Land Rover Discovery and the Renault Captur will be the all-new model to watch out for. Here below are a few details on the upcoming cars.
Land Rover Discovery
The fifth-generation Land Rover Discovery is slated for debut on 28 October. The SUV will be offered with a 3.0-litre petrol or turbo-diesel engine that generates 255bhp of power and 335bhp of power respectively. The new Discovery will feature a five seat pattern as standard while the seven seat one will be optional. The engines will come mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox which will power all-four wheels.

Renault Captur
The upcoming Renault Captur will be positioned right above the Duster and will compete against the likes of the Jeep Compass. The company has already started accepting bookings for the same at a token amount of Rs 25,000. The Captur from Renault will get the same engine option as the Duster. The petrol version will get a 1.5-litre H4K engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission that generates 105bhp of power and 142Nm of torque. The diesel version will get a 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission to generate 109bhp of power and 240Nm of torque. CVT transmission and AWD options will not be offered at the time of its launch and might be introduced at a later date.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio X
Maruti Suzuki Celerio X, a crossover version of the Celerio hatchback is expected to be launched in November this year. The upcoming Celerio X will continue to be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that generates 67bhp of power and 90Nm of torque. It is believed that the vehicle will be offered with a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT. As compared to a standard Celerio, the Celerio X will be 100mm longer and higher than the standard car.

Ford EcoSport
The new Ford EcoSport has been one of the most awaited cars in 2017. The vehicle has been spotted on test on a few instances in recent past. The vehicle was revealed internationally at the 2016 LA Auto Show. Changes will be limited to cosmetic upgrades while mechanically it will continue to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol and turbocharged diesel. The diesel version generates 99bhp of power and 205Nm of torque mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The petrol variant, on the other hand, generates 110bhp of power and 140Nm of torque and gets two transmission options – the five-speed manual and the six-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. Ford will also continue offering the 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine that generates 124bhp of power and 170Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
