- To be BS-VI compliant at the time of launch
- To get a new grille, redesigned air dam, new headlamps, refreshed bumper and more
- Performance figures to be more or less similar to the existing model
Â
Mahindra, one of the leading utility vehicle manufacturers in the country, has been extensively testing its BS-VI vehicles. This time around, a BS-VI variant of the TUV300 plus was spotted undergoing tests in the country. The new model will get a new fascia which will include a new grille, new headlamps, a redesigned air dam and a refreshed bumper. The test mule was spotted with five-spoke alloy wheels and squared-off wheel arches. Â
As for the interior, it is believed that the test car has silver inserts around the centre console and air-conditioner vents. The current model is powered by a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that generates 120bhp at 4,000rpm and 280Nm of torque at 1,800-2,800rpm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The upcoming model is expected to produce more or less similar performance figures, details for which are awaited.
