Toyota is entering the C-segment premium sedan territory for the first time with the Yaris sedan. Unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo, there’s a lot riding on this car as it will be Toyota’s major push into this part of the market where it has not been able to make any major inroads. Now ahead of its expected launch on 18 May, the variants have been revealed.

Observations
On the face of things, this list is quite comprehensive and it looks like Toyota has delivered on its promise of making the Yaris a feature heavy model. Even the base model comes quite loaded up in terms of exterior and interior features. There’s no diesel option but it is likely that Toyota will instead bring in a hybrid setup for the car at a later date.
