The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor was launched a couple of months ago and started reaching dealerships last month. Customer deliveries have just begun and we managed to get behind the wheel for a first-hand experience. While our first drive impressions are live, here, we give a gist of the car through this detailed image gallery from the first drive review.

The Urban Cruiser Taisor is a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. It is available in five variants namely E, S, S+, G, and V, with prices starting at Rs. 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Taisor gets a unique front grille in line with Toyota's design language. There are LED DRLs on either side, which are different from the ones on the Fronx.
At the back, it gets redesigned taillamp clusters connected by an LED light bar. The crossover rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels.
However, Toyota has not spruced up the interior and it remains as is. The design layout, equipment, and even features remain the same as those in the Fronx.
The Urban Cruiser Taisor is equipped with a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The other notable features include automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, and a heads-up display.
Toyota Taisor powertrain specifications
The Urban Cruiser Taisor is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 89bhp and 113Nm of torque and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns 99bhp and 148Nm. Both engines come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard. However, the 1.0-litre engine gets an optional six-speed automatic and the naturally aspirated unit can be had with a five-speed AMT. The Taisor also gets a factory-fitted CNG option.
