Toyota has topped off its revised GT86 sports car range with a new special edition. Called the GT86 Blanco, this new model delivers all of the coupe’s acclaimed handling characteristics with a dash of one-off design.
The GT86 Blanco is finished in white pearlescent paint with contrasting sports decals in a combination of red and grey. The car features a stripe decal that runs up from the nose and across the bonnet and roof, matched by a GT86 twin-stripe along the sills.
The car also features 18-inch alloys, finished in Anthracite and embossed with the GT86 name. Inside the cabin, the sports seats have full leather upholstery and, for the front seats, heaters. Each car features its own numbered plaque on the centre console, recording its place in the special edition production run.
The GT86 Blanco gets the same naturally aspirated, front-mounted 2-litre boxer configuration engine with rear-wheel drive. It will soon go on sale in certain bits of Europe starting August this year. Although Toyota India did showcase it at the 2014 Auto Expo, the GT86 isn’t on the cards for the Indian market.
