Spy shot images of the 2018 Toyota Rush have been doing rounds for a while now. This time around, the Japanese car manufacturer has officially revealed the Rush SUV in Indonesia. The seven-seat vehicle features large grille with four chrome slats, and LED headlights and DRLs that is borrowed from the Innova and the CR-V in the country.
Under the hood, Toyota Rush is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 103bhp of power and 140Nm of peak torque. Reports indicate that the Rush gets a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic option. In terms of safety, the top-spec version gets ABS with EBD, six airbags, hill start assist and stability control.
Inside, the top spec version features a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB compatibility and smartphone compatibility via Miracast and Weblink. Additionally, the vehicle also gets premium dual-tone upholstery, keyless entry and push-button start. To distinguish it from a regular variant, the top-spec variant gets 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels and side body mouldings.
Toyota Rush will go up on sale in Indonesia early next year. There is no official announcement on its India debut for now and details regarding the same will be known on a later date.
