Effective from 12 September 2017, Toyota has hiked prices by 2-7 per cent across its popular selling models like the Innova, Fortuner, Corolla and the Etios. The company attributes the price increase to the hike in cess amended by the GST council. However, the price of hybrids and small cars will remain the same.
As revealed by the Japanese car manufacturer, the approximate price increase in Delhi for the Innova Crysta will be up to Rs 78,000, Fortuner up to Rs 1,60,000 and the Corolla Altis will witness a price rise of upto Rs 72,000. Likewise, the Platinum Etios price has been hiked by Rs 13,000.
