After introducing the facelift versions of the Innova and the Fortuner, Toyota Kirloskar Motor today launched the New Prius and is now offering the Corolla Altis with the easy seat. The Prius has been launched with pricing starting at Rs 27.38lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the Corolla Altis easy seat is available as fitment at Rs 29,979/-.
This is the third generation Prius which comes loaded with a solar panel integrated on the moon roof, generating electricity and using it to ventilate inside the cabin when the vehicle is parked. The remote air conditioning system enables you to operate the air conditioning system by remote control before entering the car, lowering the temperature to the ambient conditions.
The easy seat can be fitted on any of the Corolla Altis. This seat does ensure that a wide range of people with special limited mobility needs will be able to use the vehicle. The co-driver seat can be slid and turned out easily, which makes ingress and egress a breeze. Toyota has taken this initiative as a part of its CSR activity and the company isn't making any profit on the Easy Seat fitment.
