Toyota introduces Service Express doorstep car service

- Service dispensing vehicles deployed

- Aimed at providing car maintenance at customers' convenience

- Service is being rolled-out in a phased manner

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has recently introduced 'Service Express', a car service that can be availed by a customer at a convenient location. Apart from regular maintenance and car beautification services, the carmaker also plans to provide minor body-paint jobs under this easy access servicing experience.

There are special trucks designed for this Service Express that will go to a customer's doorstep/home/office or any other convenient location as suggested. The service will include scheduled maintenance of Toyota cars and other basic services. What’s more, a special team of specially trained mechanics will handle this doorstep servicing of vehicles. 

Currently, Toyota is already operating Mobile Service vans in various regions in India. However, these provide towing, minor repairs and basic services in case of breakdowns. Service Express is an additional service that will provide the afore-mentioned services. These are presently being operated in remote areas of Rajasthan and have already received a positive feedback from customers. Toyota plans to expand this service to many more regions in our country in a phase-wise manner.

This doorstep service is indeed a good initiative to add to the convenience of Toyota car owners. With its introduction, Toyota has ventured into an area which was earlier only provided by luxury car and bike manufacturers. Let's hope many customers take advantage of this service as many more automakers may follow suit if it’s successful.
