Toyota has introduced new variants for the Etios Liva diesel and a new interior trim for the Etios sedan. The refreshed versions get new top- of- the- line variants and additional features to the interiors but remain the same mechanically. The cars last received a major facelift in March 2013. The new variants of the Liva have been priced at Rs 6.72 lakh and Rs 7.12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Etios Liva diesel gets two new variants or as Toyota likes to call the grades. The VD and VD (Safety Package) have been introduced as top- of- the- line grades in a bid to cater to the premium diesel customers. The new high- end grades come with premium features like – two-DIN audio with Bluetooth, USB, AUX – - in and remote, leather- wrapped steering wheel with tilt function and audio controls, ORVM with turn indicators, dual front SRS airbags, tachometer, rear defogger and wiper.
The Etios sedan on the other hand gets two-toned premium interiors – textured dashboard, soft fabric and in ash brown colour. The two- toned interiors had earlier only been available only in the G (SP) and GD (SP) grades and above but, now it has been introduced in the G and GD grades, as well.
