The Kia Tasman features vertically oriented headlamps up front and C-shaped LED DRLs integrated into the cladding above the front wheel arches.
There's a familiar tiger nose grille like in all new Kia vehicles and a massive front bumper and hood. All of this helps give it an imposing stance.
While C-shaped taillamps complete the look, the cargo bed will be offered in four configurations — Single Decker, Double Decker, Sports Bar, and Ladder Rack.
Inside, the Kia Tasman features dual 12.3-inch screens, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other being the touchscreen infotainment.
Then, there is a large panoramic sunroof, a folding table on the centre console, wireless charging, and an eight-speaker Harmon Kardon premium audio system; among plenty of other features.
The X-Line and X-Pro variants get all-wheel-drive as standard, while it is offered as optional on the base trim. The Tasman also gets the entire ADAS suite.
There are three driving modes for the AWD variants including Eco, Smart, and Sport. Moreover, four terrain modes include Desert, Mud, Snow, and Rock.
Furthermore, the X-Pro variant also gets an automatically engaging rear electronic locking differential and an X-Trek mode.
Powertrain
Powering the Kia Tasman is either a 2.5-litre petrol engine producing 277bhp and 421Nm of torque or a 2.2-litre diesel unit churning out 207bhp and 441Nm of torque. The petrol mill comes mated to an eight-speed automatic as standard, while the diesel gets the option of either an eight-speed auto or a six-speed manual gearbox.
