Toyota Glanza spied with CVT ahead of launch

The Toyota Glanza has been spied once again and this time around with a CVT. This same configuration is already offered with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the Zeta and Alpha variants. 

The CVT in question is mated to the 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 83bhp/115Nm. In terms of appearance, the centre console makes use of the same design and elements as the Baleno. We expect that Toyota will offer the Glanza in both the G and V variants.  

Maruti Suzuki has already sent off 364 units of the Glanza to Toyota ahead of the car’s launch next month. It will be the first in a series of cross badged models that Toyota and Maruti Suzuki will collaborate to produce over the next five years.
