Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has increased the prices of its popular SUV, the Fortuner, with immediate effect. It is available in two line-usp: Standard and Legender. Let's take a closer look at the changes.
Starting with the standard range, the GR-S variant of the Toyota Fortuner has become dearer by Rs. 50,000. It is followed by the 2.8 diesel MT 4x2, 2.8 diesel AT 4x2, 2.8 diesel MT 4x4, and the 2.8 diesel AT 4x4, observing a uniform price hike of Rs. 40,000.
Similarly, the 2.7 petrol MT 4x2 and 2.7 petrol AT 4x2 variants of the Fortuner now command a premium of Rs. 35,000 over the outgoing price list. Moreover, in the Legender range, prices of both the variants, the 2.8 diesel 4x2 AT and 2.8 diesel 4x4 AT, have been increased by Rs. 45,000 each.
The Toyota Fortuner is available with a 2.7-litre petrol engine and a 2.8-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include five-speed manual, six-speed manual, and six-speed torque converter automatic units. The prices of the three-row SUV now range from Rs. 33.78 lakh to Rs. 48.09 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
