The much awaited Toyota Innova Crysta in petrol will soon begin deliveries from next month. Interested customers can pay a booking amount of Rs 1 lakh. Toyota will offer the new Innova Crysta in petrol, in three variants – Gx, Vx and Zx. The variant wise pricing for the vehicle will be known in the coming days.
The new Innova Crysta in petrol will not get any design upgrades. In terms of change, under the hood the MPV now gets a new 2.7-litre petrol engine that puts out about 166bhp of power and 245Nm of torque. Along with a manual transmission option, the MPV will also come with the automatic transmission option. The petrol variant will continue to offer standard safety features as its diesel counterpart.
The petrol variant will boost the Innova Crysta sales further owing to the thinning difference between the petrol and diesel prices in the country, thereby allowing customers more options to choose from. The petrol variant will once again start the Innova sales in Delhi and Kerala where its sales were affected due to the 2-litre diesel ban. Additionally, it will also help customers in Delhi who have been fretting over the recently introduced ban on 10-year old diesel cars.
