Toyota is celebrating its seventh position finish in a Nurburgring endurance race with this spruced up Corolla Altis. Called the Corolla ESport Nurburgring Edition, the vehicle has been showcased at the ongoing 2015 Bangkok Motor Show.
The Nurburgring edition features a sportier front bumper and a piano black grille. While the sides are dominated by 17-inch alloy wheels, the rear end gets a diffuser-like arrangement for the rear bumper and a boot spoiler.
Sadly, this special edition comes with no power upgrades whatsoever. It continues to be powered by the 1.8-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which develops 140bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 177Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. While there is no hike in power, Toyota reportedly has worked on the suspension set up for better handling still it is still no race car, especially with the 7-stepped CVT gearbox that is being offered as the only option.
