Toyota today announced the start of its Roadside Assistance programme for its customers. Aiming to accelerate its Customer Service, the programme by Toyota is aimed at providing round the clock roadside assistance. All vehicles invoiced from TKM with effect from 1st April 2010 onwards will be provided three years roadside assistance coverage absolutely free within 100 kms of the dealership.
The programme will cover a host of services. Jumpstart of the vehicle when the battery dies down, replacing a flat tyre with a spare one, providing fuel in case the vehicle runs out of it, retrieving spare keys from home and towing immobilized vehicles to the nearest Toyota dealership are some of the services provided under this programme.
In case of regrettable incidents like accidents, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest dealership and the customer will also be provided a free ride home. In case of injuries the customer will be assisted to seek medical help and accommodation if required.
The services will be centrally managed by a 24x7 Assistance Centre which could be reached at the toll free number 1800 102 5001. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, said that customers always came first and if they could not reach Toyota, the company would reach out to them.
