The Toyota Corolla Altis, the new Corolla, will be launched on the 5th of September in India. The new Corolla is expected to have the same 1.8l petrol engine but a few tweaks will help it produce 132bhp (as opposed to the current one's 125bhp). The Corolla Altis will be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions. However, there won't be any diesel engine on offer. The best part about the Altis is its new Camry-like exterior look. The new Corolla Altis will have a price tag of approximately 13-15 lakh rupees.
