Top-spec Tata Tiago XZ+ variant launched in India at Rs 5.57 lakhs

-    The top-spec of the Tiago is launched in both petrol and diesel guise. 

-    Gets dual-tone paint job, bigger 15-inch wheels, new infotainment system and added features. 

Tata Motors has extended the Tiago portfolio with the addition of a new top-of-the-line variant called the XZ+. Available in both petrol and diesel guise, the XZ+ trim adds two new colours - Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue – apart from getting a dual-tone paint scheme with a glossy black finish on the roof. The top-spec trim also sports the same five-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels (only with the petrol engine option) as seen on the Tigor.

On the exterior, the headlamps get projector units with a smoked black finish, body side moulding, and a chrome insert on the tailgate. In terms of features, the Tiago XZ+ now gets electric ORVMs with welcome function, automatic AC, full fabric seats, and knitted roof. Also part of the package is a seven-inch ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system with Harman music system and Android Auto. The XZ+ also comes with four tweeters, voice recognition, and notification readout.

Under the skin, there are no mechanical changes to the hatchback. This means the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.05-litre diesel continue to power the Tiago in the top-spec guise. The transmission is the same five-speed manual only with no choice of AMT in the Tiago XZ+.
