A whole month has passed since we brought you the first edition of our monthly round up of spy shots. We are back this time around but with a much more detailed approach. This time we are bringing out two sets of stories- International test models and India bound test models. So here then is a list of India bound test cars that we have spotted doing the rounds around Europe.
Given the minor differences between the international spec Vitara and the Vitara Brezza it is quite safe to assume that the changes to the international model will be reflected on the Brezza, albeit, their launches will be with a considerable time gap. As a part of the update, expect a new face and some changes to the features in the cabin.
A returning contender for this story package, the next generation A-Class has been spotted doing the rounds once again ahead of its probable debut at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The pictures clearly tell us that too much of the design won’t change but that it more likely that there will be some major changes underneath and in the cabin as well.
The Wrangler will be completing over 30 years of existence and what better way to ring the occasion in then by introducing a new generation for the famous SUV. It will get a slightly revised design but stay true to the silhouette that defined the Wrangler family since it was introduced in the late 1980s. Since we get the Wrangler here as a CBU, expect that it will be launched in India shortly after its global debut.
4. 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai’s flagship D-segment SUV for the Indian market will get a major upgrade next year. Given that the current generation has been around for five years now this in all probability will be launched as a next generation vehicle. We believe that it will be offered with a revised of petrol and diesel engines as a part of the update.
5. Volvo XC40
This is will be the new compact crossover from the Swedish automaker to take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA, Audi Q2 and BMW X1. It will sport a design similar to that of the XC90 but in scaled down proportion to match the position of the car.
6. Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift
This new generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class was introduced in 2014 and is the seventh one since the car was introduced in 1993. As a part of the mid-life update, the C-Class will get an upgrade for the 2017 model. The changes will not be too many and mostly limited to new kit in the cabin.
7. Rolls Royce Cullinan
This will be a new high-riding vehicle from the British luxury automaker and will take on the likes of the Bentley Bentayga. From the photos we can see that it will be a crossover but with all the design hallmarks of the Rolls Royce brand to keep the luxury factor as high as possible.
8. Range Rover facelift
The most luxurious and capable SUV that money could buy is due for an upgrade and it will come out later this year. What’s new? For starters there will be a sleeker face and rear-end. Also expect at least one hybrid option for this massive SUV.
9. Next generation Volkswagen Polo rendering
Volkswagen’s popular hatchback will play a major role in their future in India. Ahead of an expected debut in 2018 here is rendering of the next generation car. It carries all the Polo’s design cues but in a larger and sharper form.
