Renault has launched the latest iteration of the Kwid with prices starting at Rs 2.66 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Important safety features include rear seat belts with emergency locking retractors for all variants and crawl and hill assist features for the AMT trims. In addition, there are some more changes to the entry-level hatchback. Let's have a look.
1. Reverse Parking Camera
The top-end variant and the Kwid Climber edition get a rear camera that is paired to the existing touch screen system.
2. Rear arm rest
Occupants in the back seat will now be able to use an arm rest newly added to the car.
3. 12V power socket in second row
There's also a rear 12V socket available on the RXT (O) variant and the Kwid Climber.
4. Cosmetic add-ons
The 2018 Renault Kwid boasts of updated exteriors in the form of dual-tone bumpers, chrome grille and headlights with C-shaped lighting signature. Going up the range, the mid and top-end versions sport body coloured bumpers, full wheel covers and front fog lamps too.
