- Will likely receive an update in the coming months
- To get automatic climate control, powered wing mirrors, and more.
Citroen India, addressing the complaints of the C3 and the C3 Aircross being underequipped, finally rolled out an update for both models. With the new update, the C3 benefits from a handful of features that were missing in it all this while, and these will be passed on to the eC3 as well.
The updated C3 borrows features from the recently launched Basalt coupe SUV. These features include automatic climate control, powered wing mirror, repositioned rear window switches, LED headlamps, six airbags as standard, and a larger seven-inch digital instrument panel. We expect all of these features to be carried over to the electric version of the C3, the eC3.
The Citroen eC3 is currently being offered at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 11.61 lakh, across three variants, namely, Live, Feel, and Shine. Moreover, there are additional versions such as Vibe Pack, dual-tone, and Blu Edition available with the Feel and Shine variants.
Powering the eC3 is a 29.2kWh battery pack paired with a single motor mounted on the front axle. This motor is tuned to generate 56bhp and 143Nm of torque with a claimed driving range of 320km on a single charge.
