- All cars on the list are now SUVs
- Memory function makes a debut at this price point
In our previous story on cars under Rs. 20 lakh with a powered driver seat, we looked at cars under the Rs. 17 lakh price bracket as we had to split our 18-car list. The first list was a mix of sedans and SUVs, whereas in this part of the market, we have moved straight into the SUV fight, and the stakes have become a little higher.
Observations from the list
The entry-level car on our list is the Kia Seltos where you can have an eight-way powered driver seat from the HTX+ variant onwards. The eight-way adjustment made its debut with the updated Seltos and should find its way to the Carens facelift when it is launched in 2025.
The Thar Roxx is the newest player in the fray. Unlike its three-door sibling, it gets a powered driver seat. This is in line with Mahindra’s aim to make the five-door SUV more family-oriented and place a higher emphasis on comfort features.
The Creta makes a return to this list with the performance-oriented N-Line version, which like its standard sibling, gets eight-way power adjustment.
The most expensive of the lot is the Mahindra XUV700 in the AX7 L trim that gets six-way adjustment but with a three-step memory function as well as a welcome function.
