Top American cars spotted in June

America is the world’s largest car market and it sets the trends for future products that we can expect here in India. But there are some cars that will probably never come to India, at least officially; like their large trucks. But then, here is what most of America will be interested in anyway.

Jeep Cherokee

The new Jeep Cherokee has been spotted testing in the US and the SUV is expected to hit the American market in 2018. It seems to get sharper looks continuing with its signature vertically slatted grille. Since it is a facelift, do not expect it to be radically different. 

Mercedes-Benz X-Class

The Germans are finally waking up to what America wants. Mercedes has begun testing their all-new truck called the X-Class. The twin-cab truck should help the three-pointed star get a piece of the popular and high volume truck market.

Ford Mustang GT500

The Mustang GT500 is an icon that started its journey half a decade ago. The new GT500 is based on the same car that is sold here in India and will develop more than 500bhp of power from the same 5.0-litre petrol V8 engine.

Cadillac CT6

The Cadillac CT6 was launched in 2016 and the American marquee is already working on its update. The cross-country tourer comes with a 3.0-litre V6 petrol as of now and we are sure that it will get the 4.2-litre V8 before the car is updated again in 2019.

Chevrolet Silverado

Chevrolet Silverado is the classic American truck with twin cabs and a large loading bay. The third generation Silverado was launched back in 2014 and is already due for an update by the end of this year.
