If you love off-roaders, you are going to love this one. Jeep India has just launched the all new Wrangler at Rs. 63.94 lakhs (All-India ex-showroom). Let us take a look at five things you need to know about the new Jeep Wrangler.

1. Iconic design
Jeep continues to stick with the old school design even in its all-new avatar and will be available in the 5 door version in India complete with full frame removable roof and doors. The 7-slat grille has been retained as are the round headlamps and the square tail lamps. Additionally the 18-inch granite finish alloys give it just the right stance.

2. Big power
The new Wrangler now gets the Pentastar, 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol that makes a rather impressive 268bhp and an even more insane 400Nm of torque. The engine sends power to all four wheels via a new eight-speed automatic transmission.

3. Luxurious too
On the insides, there leather seats, plenty of soft touch materials and more importantly a large 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system that gets all the connectivity options. Also the phone, media, climate and navigation can be controlled via buttons on the steering wheel. Taking care of the audiophiles is a 9-speaker Alpine music system.

4. Off-road capability
The Wrangler is known for it’s off road capability and the new car is even better. Apart from the impressive approach and departure angles, it also gets jeep selectrac 4WD that can be used in 4High and 4-low modes to conquer most terrains.

5. Safety is well taken care of.
The Wrangler comes with a bunch of safety features. You get rear parking sensors with a camera, electronic stability control and abs. There is also the advanced multistage airbags and the supplementary front seat mounted side airbags.
