Top 4 features of the 2018 MY Range Rover

The 2018 MY Range Rover family of cars has been launched in India at Rs 1.74 crores (All-India ex-showroom). There’s 10 variants across two petrol engines and two diesel engines with the top-of-the-line 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol Autobiography variant costing a cool Rs 3.38 crores! (Ex- showroom).

Sleeker grille and Matrix LED headlamps
The Land Rover by virtue of its sheer size stands out in a crowd. To balance it, the automaker designed its looks to be minimal and unassuming with a sleeker grille and matrix LED headlamps bringing in a quiet hint of sophistication. Yet the grille retains its characteristic Range Rover identity and the LED headlamps, thanks to their compact design, do not take up much real estate on the face.

New tail lamps
One of the signature elements of the Range Rover design was the curvy tail lamps that wrapped around the edges. This MY 2018 car gets a completely new design comprising two stacked square LED units. However, while the actual lighting units have become minimal, the subtle curve into the edge of the rear has been retained.

Touch Pro Duo
Standard for all versions of the Range Rover is the Touch Pro Duo system comprising two 10-inch screens that control a majority of the functions of car. The upper screen is for the infotainment system while the lower unit controls function like the seats, ambient lighting and climate control system.

Mobile App
You can now have the Land Rover with a new mobile app. Dubbed IN Control, it allows you to control various functions of the vehicle including being able to switch on the car and run the climate control system for up to 30 minutes to get the car cabin to the temperature that you want.
