Maruti Suzuki recently launched a special edition version of the Dzire in the Indian market. This trim adds more equipment to the entry-level petrol and diesel models of the compact sedan, and all of this at a very marginal premium. Let's take a look at the top three highlights.
Exterior
Since this special edition Dzire is based on the base variants, alloy wheels and projector-lens headlamps with LED daytime running lights will be missing. However, the carmaker is providing wheel covers to add to the appeal and rear parking sensors as well.
Interior
New features inside the cabin include front power windows and a two-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and paired to two speakers. These base trims also get remote locking as part of this special edition version.
Price
All the afore-mentioned additional equipment is available with this special edition at a marginal premium of Rs 30,000 on both the petrol and diesel versions. It adds more value to the base LXi and LDi trims making it a lucrative option for buyers.
