The Audi Q8 is back again and this time around the Ingolstadt based automaker has flown it half way around the world to showcase it for the Japanese market. With the SUV trend going strong even in a country as quirky as Japan, this car sure looks set to make quite a few heads turn.
As the name and design suggests, it’s a coupe SUV and will be Audi’s new flag bearer when it is launched globally in 2018.The design cues and hybrid powertrain indicate the direction Audi will take with future vehicles. It also shows what the cabin of the future Audi range will look like in production form.
This is the same car that was showcased at Geneva and Frankfurt 2017 and has now even been spotted doing the rounds in production guise on our Indian roads albeit with a whole load of camouflage.
Audi’s not attending the Delhi Auto Expo but we can be sure that they will make use of the occasion to show us the concept car.
