Observations
Noticeably absent from this list are features such as a sunroof, connected car technology, and a leatherette upholstery package. We already know that this car was patented without a sunroof. Still, given the feature’s popularity in the part of the market it will be launched, we expect Renault to make some adjustments for India.
On the engine front, it is expected to be offered with only petrol power. In this case, it will be a 1.2-litre turbo petrol with an output of 130bhp/230Nm, mated to either a six-speed MT or a six-speed AT. We also expect this top-spec version to be offered with 4X4 technology.
As stated before, the Duster is an important car for Renault as it will be its re-entry into the competition against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
