Before you contact your friend named Veneno (Spanish for Venom), which is an extremely improbable incident by itself, we would like to clarify that the Veneno in context is the ultra-exclusive hyper car from Lamborghini. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed their plans to make a roadster version of the Veneno in time for next year’s Geneva Motor Show.
At an extremely ‘tempting’ price of 3.3 million Euros (Rs 27.69 crore) the car can be considered as an amazing value for money prospect for many of its possible buyers. Much to their despair, Lamborghini has revealed that they intend to make a limited production run of nine examples of the roadster which is three times the examples rolled out for the Veneno.
The Roadster will keep the fixed-roof car’s Aventador-derived powertrain without alteration. Hence, the 6.5-litre V-12 engine paired to a specially modified version of the manual will churn out the same 760PS power that will propel the roadster to 100kph from a standstill in the blink of an eye.
In all possibility, the nine examples should have already been accounted for. So if you do wish to see the car that is priced equivalent to nearly 1200 Tata Nanos, the next Geneva Motor Show is the place to be.
