The electric SUV from MG Motors, which has created quite a buzz, was spotted on test for the first time in India. Due for launch later this year, the eZS will be the second product from MG Motors for the Indian market. The vehicle is an electric twin of the ZS SUV which is sold in the international market. The UK-bound eZS from MG is being showcased at the 2019 London Motor Show and will be on display till tomorrow.
The China-spec eZS is powered by a 148bhp electric motor that enables the vehicle to sprint from 0-50kmph in just about 3.1 seconds. Moreover, the electric SUV claims to offer a driving range of 335kms on a full charge. The mechanical set-up for India-bound MG eZS is not known for now and will be revealed later this year.
At the time of launch, like the Hector, the eZS is expected to be loaded with features like panoramic sunroof, touchscreen infotainment, premium upholstery, internet connection and more. The upcoming electric SUV is likely to be a flagship offering from MG Motor India and will be assembled at the company's facility in Halol, Gujarat.
