Mercedes-Benz has given a facelift treatment to its existing SUV – the GLK. Being a revamp, the boxy styling of the SUV still lingers. However, the new headlamps and the front grille look more contemporary than the original design. This is an optional AMG Exterior package Kit for the new GLK but there no AMG tweaked models.
Mercedes-Benz is offering the GLK with one petrol and two diesel engine options, which includes a 3.5-litre V6 petrol while the oil burners will be the 2.2-litre and 3.0-litre V6. The revised GLK gets an iPad dock station for the rear passengers, multi-media system with internet connectivity and Harman Kardon music system.
Due to certain engineering oversight, the GLK cannot make into right-hand drive markets including that of ours. Mercedes-Benz confirms the new-generation GLK which will be out in 2015 shall be made available in left and right hand car markets.
