- Skoda has launched the Fabia Scout at a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. A petrol and a diesel option will be offered, and there is only one trim available at the moment.

- BMW has already launched an extended-wheelbase version of the 3-series for the Chinese market. - Tushek Supercars, a Slovenian company, plans to build a supercer that will rival the Lamborghini Aventador. The company claims a target weight of 1000kg, power of more than 700PS and grip that will go up to 3.3g in extreme cases. By way of reference, most supercars can manage up to 1.5g of lateral grip.

- Mercedes has inaugurated its first AMG-only dealership in Shanghai. The AMG Performance Center is spread over 381 square metres and was used as the launch location for the new G63 AMG.
- The notorious Enzo Ferrari that was abandoned - and then impounded - in Dubai will come up for auction in a short while along with 128 other vehicles. Considering that the usual way of acquiring an Enzo was either to have Ferrari ask you if you want one, or pay incredible amounts to an owner who wants to sell, we're sure that this is going to be a record-breaker for the Dubai police, who are conducting the auction.
