The 2012 Fiat Punto
- Indian car manufacturers have joined forces to set up a method for issuing recalls that might be in force as early as next week. This is a purely voluntary exercise, and ARAI has been working on a similar system for some time now.

- The Nissan Leaf electric vehicle will attempt a world record - that of going the quickest one mile, but in reverse. It will attempt this in style, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb course, which happens to be one mile long.
