- Bowler, the boutique manufacturer of the mad racing SUVs like the Wildcat and Nemesis, has agreed to a brand partnership with Land Rover, on whose cars the Bowlers are based on. Bowler will now be "powered by Land Rover".
- Mini launches the world's first commercial vehicle with an eye on style rather than cost: the Clubvan goes on sale later this year.
- The American Le Mans endurance racing series will go a little greener next season, with race gas being replaced by natural gas. Since the gas is rated at 130RON, the teams won't be complaining too much...
- The first production 2013 SRT Viper has fetched USD 300,000 at Barrett-Jackson's Orange County auction. The proceeds from the sale will go towards the Austin Hatcher Foundation, which helps children and families dealing with issues related to paediatric cancer.
- The world's first pop-up zebra crossing has been deployed in the UK. It can be installed on any road in less than a minute. We aren't sure how helpful one of those would be in India, though.
