Electric car maker Tesla has been developing the Model X for quite some time now. The company, best known for its electric luxury sedan called the Model S, is constantly running prototypes of the forthcoming all-electric crossover. Spy shots of which have appeared straight from California.
The Model X is expected to go on sale by the end of 2015. It is expected to make use of the same drive-train as the Model S and that means 690bhp of power and 930Nm of torque going through all four wheels thanks to a dual electric motor and all-wheel drive system.
While the Model S is already known for its supercar beating performance, the heavier Model X is expected to be a shade slower. Nonetheless, the incredible power figures will ensure that it is still plenty fast for most users.
