American electric car maker Tesla has been readying the Model X for quite some time now. Best known for its electric luxury sedan called the Model S, the brand, it seems, is nearly ready with the Model X – an all-electric crossover model.
Expected to go on sale by the end of 2015, the Model X has been spied on the road in production trim. It is expected to make use of the same drive-train as the Model S and that means 690bhp of power and 930Nm of torque going through all four wheels thanks to a dual electric motor all-wheel drive system.
