American car brand Tesla, which manufactures and sells electric cars, is on course for expanding its fast-charging station network in the UK. The company recently opened its 20th Supercharger station in the UK.
Tesla says its Supercharger stations are available at various supermarkets spread across many cities in the UK including London. Additionally, the brand has energised more than 300 Supercharger stations and more than 1,600 Superchargers worldwide, making it both the largest and the fastest-growing fast-charging network in the world. In Europe, there are 129 Supercharger stations with over 670 Superchargers, extending from northern Norway to Italy and Slovenia.
Tesla’s latest creation – the Model S is a hot favourite among luxury and performance car buys both in the US and Europe. The fully electric, four door luxury sedan was introduced in 2012 and since then it has achieved rapidly growing sales in many global markets.
