Cars are being built in India for almost half a century now and the car lovers have always wanted a true-blue Indian-bred sportscar. It seems that our dream of seeing an Indian-bred sportscar might come true when Tata reveals their new concept at the Geneva Auto Show on March 7.
Except for the covered silhouette, there is no information to guess what it might be. But from the looks of it, it might be a sports coupe, a two-door low slung sportscar. Tata Motors is said to be developing two new platforms that will underpin all the future Tata cars and the new sportscar might be built on the one developed for small cars. The other one will obviously underpin the SUVs.
Tata’s new innovation vertical, Tamo, has developed this new sports coupe. Tamo has been created as an independent entity that will work with tech companies and global trends to develop new products that will encompass new vehicles and in-car technologies.
