Tata Motors has launched the Vista VX Tech hatchback for Rs 5.01 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). It is being offered only with two diesel engines as well as new external shade. It gets many of the features found on the Vista D90.
On the outside, the Vista Tech has exactly the same design as the Vista D90 but is now being offered in a new shade called Blue Chill. It also gets some Tech stickers below the front windows but has the same overall design as the Vista. It also gets a new design for the wheel caps in the lower variants.
The new Tata Vista VX Tech top-of-the-line limited edition variant has been fitted with a 6.5 inch TFT touch screen- based multimedia system designed for audio (radio and CD), video (DVD), USB, Blue-5 (Bluetooth pairing with up to five phones), AUX-IN and advanced GPS navigation system.
These elaborate features can be conveniently controlled by the driver from the illuminated steering wheel mounted controls. The Vista range also offers a Drive Pro Console and an advanced driver information system at the centre console. This console also includes a digital clock, and depending on the mode, instantaneous fuel economy and average fuel economy can be known.
The Vista range is available in three trims – LS, LX and VX Tech. The LS trim is available in 1.4-litre TDI BSIII and in Quadrajet 75PS BSIV diesel engines. The LX trim is available only with the 1.4-litre TDI BSIII diesel engine while the top-end limited edition variant, the VX Tech, is offered with the 1.3-litre, Quadrajet 75PS BSIV diesel engine only. All engines have been mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
Prices for the Tata Vista Tech start at Rs 5.01 lakh for the LS variant while the top- of- the- line Vista VX tech has been priced at Rs 6.19 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
