The Tata Nexon will soon get an XZ variant in its line-up. The automaker already has a XZ+ variant for the compact SUV and this XZ variant will fill the space between the XZ+ and XT variant. We already know that there will be an AMT model in the form of the XZA variant indicating that this how Tata will launch the variant.
Over the XZ+ variant, this XZ model is expected to lose out on LED DRLs, fog lamps, alloy wheels, rear defogger, armrests, button start and dual tone pain scheme. The XZ variant will continue with the 1.2-litre turbo petrol as well as the 1.5-litre turbo diesel. Both get six-speed manuals as standard while the latter will also get a six-speed AMT.
The AMT variant will be called the XZA while the manual variants both in petrol and diesel will be dubbed the XZ. We have already seen the AMT model at the 2018 Auto Expo and here's where you can read about it. The XZ variant is likely to be priced Rs 50,000 lesser than the equivalent XZ+ variant.
