Tata will launch a facelifted version the Manza, the Club Class, in Mumbai on October 16. The Club Class is a mid-life face lift for the flagship sedan of the Indian auto major. It is expected to boost sales for the model which had taken a hit over the last few months.
Tata has introduced new variants for the car including a cheaper diesel version with a fixed geometry turbocharger to boost volumes. This mill produces 73bhp and 190Nm of torque and will power the base variant of the sedan. It is the same Fiat Multijet engine that powers the Vista, Swift, Dzire and the Fiat Punto.
The Club Class, depending on the variant, will now get a touch screen audio system, automatic climate control, Italian leather or revised seat fabric, twin-tone roof and chrome detailing on the bumpers and doors. Eight-spoke alloy wheels replace the black ones that were available on the top-end variants of the previous model. Stay tuned to Carwale as we bring you all the details of the new Manza Club Class from the launch on October 16.
