Tata Motors has issued a voluntary recall campaign for the diesel powered manual transmission version of the Tata Tigor. The cars in question were manufactured in the period 6 March 2017 to 1 December 2017. They are in the VIN series MAT629401GKP52721 to MAT629401HKN89616.Â
This is a service initiative wherein the company has urged concerned customers with chassis numbers as mentioned above to contact their nearest dealerships to rectify potential emission issues, free of cost.
The automaker in an official statement has said that the vehicles are safe to drive and there is no concern related to safety. This proactive action reiterates Tata Motors’ commitment towards customer centricity and environment. Owners of the concerned vehicles will be contacted through our dealer representatives, the statement added.
