Tata Tiago, the popular selling hatchback from the Indian car manufacturer is now equipped with standard safety features like dual front airbags, Antilock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Corner Stability Control (CSC), and rear parking sensors. Additionally, the vehicle is also equipped with seat belt and speed sensing alert system. The fresh batch of Tiago with standard safety update is also equipped with seat belt pretensioners and load limiters. The updated Tata Tiago is now available at a starting price of Rs 4.40 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Changes in the Tata Tiago are limited to the safety feature upgrade and it continues to be powered by 1.2-litre petrol and 1.05-litre diesel engine option. Reports indicate that Tata might discontinue the diesel version when the BS-VI rule is due for implementation from 1 April 2020.
