Tata Tiago launched in India for Rs 3.2 lakh

Tata Tiago has been launched in India for Rs 3.2 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). Loaded with modern technological upgrades, style and features, the hatchback will draw attention from the younger car buying lot in the country.    

Tata Tiago is powered by 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol Revotron engine which generates 84bhp of power and 114Nm of torque. The 1.05-litre three-cylinder diesel engine generates 67bhp of power and 139Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to five speed manual transmission. The company will be introducing AMT variant soon. 

The Tiago Tiago gets refreshing new interior design. The centre console is finished with gloss black accents. Apart from the HVAC unit, the Tata Tiago gets infotainment system with AUX, USB and Bluetooth connectivity and the three-spoke steering wheel gets audio and telephony controls. The vehicle also gets turn-by-turn navigation function via smartphone. The new juke app allows users to pair one main phone and multiple others through it. 

On the design aspect, the Tiago hatchback does not have a conventional design like its older siblings. As a result of the DesigNEXT strategy, the vehicle gets a refreshing new look. The front fascia sports a wide gloss black finished grille that is complimented with the new bug shaped headlamps. The hatchback’s youthfulness is completed with the redesigned bumpers, wraparound tail lamps and a rear spoiler.
