Tata Motors has launched the updated versions of the Tata Tiago JTP and Tata Tigor JTP in India. These new JTP versions of the Tiago and the Tigor are now pricier by Rs 30,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. The hike in price is attributed to the new feature list. Mechanically, both the cars continue to be powered by the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission that generates 112bhp and 150Nm of torque.
Here below are the top five updates in the newly launched Tata Tiago JTP and Tata Tigor JTP –
- The five-inch infotainment display in both the cars has been replaced by a larger seven-inch touchscreen unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- The automatic climate control in Tigor JTP is now available in Tiago JTP.
- The electrically adjustable wing mirrors now get power-folding function.
- The cars get a high-speed alert system and in addition to driver-seat belt reminder from its predecessor, it now gets co-driver seat belt alarm.
- The Tigor JTP now gets a black shark fin antennae at the back to further enhance its sporty esthetics.
The JTP edition will be available in selective dealerships across major cities like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Kangra, Kannur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida, Pune, Thane and Thrissur.
